Butex Admission Test 2023-2024

13 thousand 556 aspirants have applied for the first year admission test of Bangladesh Textile University (BUTEX) for the academic year 2023-23. The university authorities will publish the list of eligible candidates who have applied for the admission test tomorrow Thursday (May 25) from the total applicants.

The university authorities will publish the list of first 6 thousand eligible candidates based on the highest marks obtained in Physics, Chemistry and Higher Mathematics in HSC. On May 26 eligible candidates can collect the admit card by paying Tk 800 and the last time to collect the admit card is June 10. This time the entrance exam will be held only at Butex campus.

BUTEX Admission Test Mark Distribution

As always, this year’s Butex admission test will be held for 200 marks. Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics will be 60 marks and English subject will be 20 marks for a total of 200 marks. The written examination will be conducted based on the short syllabus prescribed for the HSC examination of 2023. Functional English will be followed for English subject.

This year only those who had GPA-5.00 in SSC and equivalent and HSC and equivalent examinations separately can apply. And applied only if GPA-19 points out of total 20 points in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and English in HSC and equivalent examination.
