Dhaka city government school admission form is published from November 16. Online initial application ends on December 6. According to the instruction of the Ministry of Education, no government school admission test will be held this year, students will be selected through lottery.

Dhaka Govt School Class One Admission Lottery Result
Lottery results for admission to government secondary schools will be held today on December 12. The admission lottery results of all government schools in the country including Dhaka city were scheduled to be published on December 10, but it has been changed to December 12. Dhaka Metropolitan City has 59 percent seats allotted in all government schools in the country. Only 41 percent of general students can get admission.
Parents and students can check the lottery result from the school admission lottery result designated website using their designated ID and password. 6 lakh 26 thousand 59 applications have been submitted against 1 lakh 7890 government school seats in 2024 academic year. It is said that about 5.8 students will fight for admission against one seat.
Online initial application ends on 6th December 2022. About 626,000 students applied for admission to vacant seats in 540 government secondary schools from the first to ninth classes. A student can list up to five schools in each application.
