This year a total of 11 lakh 38 thousand seventeen students from nine general education boards participated in HSC and equivalent examinations and 1 lakh 13 thousand 140 students participated in Alim examination under Madrasa Board and 1 lakh 48 thousand students participated in HSC BM examination under Technical Board.

On December 2, the day of the commencement of HSC and equivalent examinations, the Minister of Education announced that the results of this year’s HSC examinations would be released within 30 days after the completion of the examinations.
However, the education minister did not announce a date for the release of the results.
