Load Shedding Schedule 2022 Bangladesh | Area-wise Load Shedding Schedule Today | On Monday, July 18, Bangladesh Energy and Power Ministry’s advisor Toufiq Elahi Chowdhury released the schedule of final load shedding of all districts of the country. The Ministry of Energy and Power has taken such a decision due to the shortage of electricity in the country.

The problem of load-shedding has emerged in various parts of your country in serious form. Now we have the schedule of when load shedding will happen in which district. In addition, the Ministry of Energy and Electricity has ordered that shops in all districts of the country should be closed after eight o’clock at night.

Area wise load shedding is going to start in the country from Tuesday (July 19) by suspending the production of diesel based power plants to save the cost of fuel oil. There will be load shedding of one to one and a half hours, sometimes two hours a day. This decision was taken in a high-level meeting at the Prime Minister’s office on Monday (July 18).

The Prime Minister’s Advisor on Power and Energy, State Minister for Power and Energy, Chief Secretary, Senior Secretary of the Prime Minister’s Office and other related officials were present in the meeting. Area wise load shedding will start.

He said, there will be a shortage of one to one and a half thousand megawatts of electricity. There will be load shedding of one to one and a half hours, sometimes two hours a day.

After the meeting, the two distribution companies Dhaka Power Distribution Company Limited (DPDC) and Dhaka Electric Supply Company Limited (DESCO) published the schedule of load shedding for different areas.

DPDC and DESCO have published the load shedding schedule for Tuesday (July 19) on their websites. The remaining four companies in charge of electricity distribution in the rest of the country will also inform their customers of their schedules separately.

Load shedding is scheduled once a day in most of the areas covered by DPDC and DESCO. However, load shedding has been reported multiple times in some areas.
