What is a Release Slip Application? The release slip is that all the candidates who did not get a place in the merit list, will have their admission canceled or will not get admission in the allotted subject if they get a place in the merit list will be able to apply to any of the five colleges. This is basically a release slip application. All the students who have completed the initial application for the admission process in the first year of National University Honors in the 2020-2021 academic year will be able to apply for the release slip only.

The online application process for the first release slip in the admission process for the first year undergraduate (honors) class in the academic year 2020-2021 of the National University will start from 4 pm on October 18, 2021. The release slip application process will continue till 12 midnight on October 31, 2021. Admission process for the first year undergraduate (honors) class in the academic year 2020-21. National University Release Slip Application Process

To apply for the release slip, the candidate has to go to the specific website (www.admissions.nu.edu.bd or nu.edu.bd/admissions), go to the Honors tab and click on the Honors Applicant’s Login option and enter the real number and PIN of the application form. In this case with the name of the candidate and other information The application form for the release slip will be displayed on the website.
To apply for the release slip, go to the College Selection Option and select the college of your choice. At this stage, the applicant will make an entry by re-determining the order of preference from his list of eligible subjects. Thus an applicant will fill the application form of the release slip with entry by determining the subject preference order in maximum five colleges in phases as per his choice.
Fill the form with the correct information and click on the Submit Application option. A new application form with name, initial application rail number, college name and subject preference order will be available on the website. The form has to be downloaded and printed on A4 (8.5 ”× 11 ″) offset white paper but it does not have to be submitted to the colleges mentioned in the application form or any fee has to be paid.
Even after finalizing the application form of the release slip, any candidate can apply for the college / subject in his / her application form. | If he wants to modify or change the order of preference, he has to go to the Honors Applicant’s Login option and enter the real number and pin code of the initial application form. At this stage, the applicant has to go to the Cancel Release Slip option and click Click to Generate the Security key. At this time the candidate can send an SMS to the personal mobile number mentioned in his application form Time Password (OTP). With this OTP entry the candidate will be able to cancel his / her application form and fill up the application form of the new release slip. Candidates will get this opportunity only once.
The results of the release slip will be released in due course. Candidates applying in the release slip will not have any opportunity to change the subject.
Candidates will go to the Honors tab of the website (www.admissions.nu.edu.bd or nu.edu.bd/admissions) and print the admission application form by going to the Honors Applicant’s Login option. Along with this application form, the candidate has to submit the secondary and higher secondary / equivalent examination number sheet, attested copy of registration card and registration fee to the concerned college within the stipulated time. A copy of the admission application form in the release slip will be returned to the candidate by the college authorities along with the signature and seal of the presiding teacher.
